   @Wormwood not like there aren't engineering books from that time period. or maybe the bar has been dropped so low in college to allow for women and shitskins that it has negatively impacted the entire discipline of engineering.

     @Heil_Honkler @Wormwood i went and got my professional engineering license so i can sign off on projects legally, which is a nice pay boost
     
     i hear or read about the things old engineers did with slide rules and look at what I or any of my colleagues are capable of and its clear we are an order of magnitude worse than the old men who built the country
     
     hell, we can't even measure up to their sons who ran ma bell and made modern computing, and they realized they weren't what their fathers were
