   I doubled down and brought their Diversity & Inclusivity bullshit (I'm heavily expecting downvotes lmao), because you know, we really need to rename old programs named Tits
   
   And Linux needed to be the 100000000th tech company investing in this again, because you see, you need to have a flood of people not otherwise interested in your field to have your wages depressed

     @coolboymew DEI is just free marketing for tech projects. I have to deal with this kind of shit at work all the time. They hosted a session called "I Can't Say Anything Anymore" recently which sounded like a bear trap in meeting form.

     Torvalds is on Fedi? And his takes are just as bad as Stallman's it seems.

     He talks about "women's right to chose" and yet his own country of Finland limits abortion to within the first 12 weeks and requires two doctor's approvals (most Americans, left to right, do believe in some limits on abortion whether it's the first trimester or the first x weeks)

     His country also requires military service, so in that case, everyone is part of the militia (he's allowed to have a take on American laws, even though it's wrong)

     I love how he says OP can't define "woke" and then gives a list of things he knows is clearly what the world would consider "woke" .. so he is somehow both simultaneously self-aware and not-self aware.

     New atheism was a colossal failure when it came to answering questions about life. That he's a "card carrying" member shows he believes in atheism like a region. Believing there is no god requires you to have knowledge of the universe, making you god and therefore you don't believe in yourself. (I doubt the assistance of god(s), but I'm not a dick about it, or wield it like an ideological sword).

     Well, I'm glad all of us can take advantage of the software he helped develop without supporting his world view.

     @coolboymew the "inclusive language" is literally the newspeak from Orwell's 1984. it aims to be "inclusive" and "embrace the diversity", but in reality it just destroys the concept of individuality. i've had a couple times been referred to as "they", and i really didn't like it. it was like my personality and myself didn't matter, like i was an object with no specifics. that's why i always use "he", "she", or "it". i use "they" only to refer to multiple people. if i don't know the person i am talking to, on the internet i use "he" by default, as the internet consists mostly of men. sometimes i guess by the name. it's easy to do when you are used to it. but the "inclusive language" just removes anything like that and supports the delusions of teenagers and even adults that decide "you know what, i am a thing now so refer to me as "it". that's all just fucking stupid. what about TLF investing into this — i might only wish them luck funding the Linux kernel development while wasting money on this useless and destructive stuff.

     @coolboymew this stuff mostly comes from the US. specifically: from the american teenagers. almost every teenager in America grew up with almost no attention from their parents, this led to the proportionally growing delusions that were made up by a stupid little mind to try and make it's life better. these delusions didn't make their lives better, but as a matter of fact, they they convinced themselves that "no, i am good, i am unique". look at the spiked suicide rates since 90s, and you will see the proof of my point. these delusions spreaded like a plague through the years, reached other continents and now we have what we have. and parents don't even bother to change anything. some of them even support that and make these delusions grow even bigger. but when the time comes, when these teenagers grow up, i think they might understand how foolish they were. but unfortunately, for now, they're trying to change the world so it will fit their delusions, not knowing that the world doesn't gice a fuck.
