   You know, my headcannon is that after the events of HL1 and taking the teleportal G-Man shows you, you are sent SOMEWHERE but your HEV suit is teleported back to Earth, maybe back to Black Mesa, completely empty, it's just the suit.
   
   Then Dr. Kleiner picks it up and make modifications to it through the years.

     I HATE this thing. I always made sure to kill it in HL1 even if it was completely skippable.

     @brimshae Dr. Kleiner did say that he made the modifications to the suit, but i dont think he ever metioned where did he get the suit or if it's the exact same gordon had in HL1

     @ryuuji I'm pretty sure that's actual canon. I seem to recall Kleiner saying something to that effect.

     Hilariously that ''your suit'' line makes a bit of potential bad canon here, as the HL1 suit is supposed to be a Mark4, and the HL2 suit a Mark5. It can be explained that Kleiner made the Mk4 to Mk5 improvements while Gordon was in stasis, especially given that he says he made modifications to ''your suit''.
