     @CentaurBreeder @hazlin Dreams are often, at some deep level, attempts for you to solve problems that you couldn't figure out how to solve in your waking hours. Our ancestors dreamt of fighting wild animals - they'd plan out, in their dreams, how to slay them.
     
     Nightmares usually get resolved when you know - deep down - that the problem is "solved." For example, if you have a dream about being in a class you didn't prepare for, then this is a nightmare if you don't have a solution of some sort for it. If you are equipped with something powerful - say, the knowledge that your GPA is good enough that it doesn't matter if you fail - then this dream is merely a dream and it does not turn into a nightmare.
     
     If you solve the nightmare in your waking hours, *and* you internalize that you've solved it, then you can take that solution into the dream world and use it to conquer the nightmare.

     @CentaurBreeder @ceo_of_monoeye_dating I'm kinda feeling shitty about not being as creative as I wanted to be over the past few years but I'm also around better people now...and a job that's killing me inside due to shit hours and all my coworkers being retards.
     
     Even the ones I think are cool reveal themselves as npcs with a few litmus tests.

     keep them at a distance. you can be friendly and talk to them, but just let them live in their world. no point in trying to help a man climbing down the mountain.
