     lddb lists 1500 or so porn laserdiscs.

     I suspect there's less porn on LaserDisc because of the relatively low sales of the players.

     Distribution might have been a problem as well, if most video stores didn't stock many laserdiscs.

     That's a mutation of the *actual* story, which is there's (virtually) no porn on LaserDisc. Those had to be mastered, and the access to that was tightly controlled.

     Of *course* there was porn on Beta. I mean, let's be honest, what else would you make when the recorder weighed 45 pounds, and the camera was tethered to it by an 8-foot cable?
