@diresock @Terry Israel also conscripts for mandatory service.
Could have been too like the "yeah I fought in Iraq bro" tards going to die for some country they don't care about as well because if so lol. That's the only other possibility.

@Terry Those are trainees.
Selfie means it was probably past 2010, since roughly up until then the IDF was paranoid about cameras in phones, and demanded everyone have theirs physically removed.
Eventually they got with the times, realizing it's futile.
A quick search of the tags brought up an Israeli air-force base, but I'm not sure if it's the location of a route/place the tags are referencing, or the actual course, could mean either one.
Possibly air-force, but it's a shot in the dark.
Searching the specific course yielded nothing, so maybe it's not something you can request to be assigned to when you enlist, something more prestigious, which means some officer course.
If the man killed is in this picture, the he was likely a government operative, only "officially" a mercenary.

@PhenomX6 @Terry Not a conscript, that's for sure.
Conscripts don't do anything too far away from Israel's borders.
Drive into Gaza with a tank? Yes.
Sail near Lebanon? Sure.
Go into Gaza undercover? Also yes.
Bomb Iran? Nope, pilots are professional soldiers, you have to sign up for it.
No conscript is ever deployed under such conditions.
Almost certainly a glowie, Israeli edition.

I don't mean deploy I mean willingly deciding "Yeah bro I'm gonna die for Ukraine". But that's 100% plausible and it's failing because of the social media age meaning that it's easier to get the truth out.
