@Zergling_man @Pawlicker @RustyCrab @meso ok fine ill bite. there are people that are mandated to use a piece of software that violates their privacy or it will get them fired or get their door blasted by the IRS. i get that you live in a relatively good environment where you can live a mostly fossful life but for some people it's just not possible ok.

If a company mandates that you need a shitphone at all or to install Google Services, Google Play Store and download a nonfree, Play Store specific app or whatever stupid shit you should definitely consider getting another job (they exist), but even if you can't and you have to deal with it, you can bet your ass it doesn't justify running other nonfree crap that isn't imposed onto you and it never will, yet I can bet you do anyways because that's what most people with this kind of take do.

He responded "All I hear is excuses" because i poked fun at him saying it's one's skill issue when he doesn't exactly know what situation they're in. does he use the same device as him? does he work the same job as him? so let's begin here.
RustyCrab mentioned that Lineage didn't have MicroG which is a free implementation of Google services. he said he needs to use Maps and some couple of apps from the Play Store.
let's say he does not use the apps and lives as some "Trve bvsed gvntooman". He will either get fired or not be able to live his life normally. Is that what you want?

what you didn't read is that i need Play Store/App Store only apps that won't let you use them without actually downloading them from the store such as the defacto messaging app and mobile banking which the only alternative is to use activex garbage with actual kernel-level spyware on a PC. i did not mention they have meticulous measures to block stuff like custom roms which concretes my argument further but it's irrelevant considering that you weren't attacking that part of my argument.
