Found some low-end CRT sold on Avito for $5. Googled the model, nothing much except basic specs (90Hz at 1024x768) and a few link for "VINTAGE RETRO GAMING" ebay lots for like $150.

  @meso I can also get a 17 inch Flatron for $8, though it's a bit older. What I'd also like is a PCI GPU that hopefully won't spaz out when passed into VM. I've been wanting to try out making a 98 VM with overpowered host CPU yet still with period-correct accelerated graphics. Sadly all old GPUs here are AGP.

    Accelerated Graphics Port (AGP) is a parallel expansion card standard, designed for attaching a video card to a computer system to assist in the acceleration of 3D computer graphics. It was originally designed as a successor to PCI-type connections for video cards. Since 2004, AGP was progressively phased out in favor of PCI Express (PCIe), which is serial, as opposed to parallel; by mid-2008, PCI Express cards dominated the market and only a few AGP models were available, with GPU manufacturers and add-in board partners eventually dropping support for the interface in favor of PCI Express. Advantages over PCI AGP is a superset of the PCI standard, designed to overcome PCI's limitations in serving the requirements of the era's high-performance graphics cards.   @Pawlicker Can't do more than 60 Hz on 1024x768, not sure if limitation of the monitor itself or the crappy DP→VGA converter I use. It doesn't have the EDID pin, so maybe you can force it to run how you want; it's a dumb model with no HUD and all the adjustable controls over various button combos.
