If we had better WYSIWYG and updated website makers, changing the colors would be a cinch, but nopeIn conversation permalink -
cool_boy_mew (coolboymew@shitposter.club)'s status on Tuesday, 19-Dec-2023 23:19:30 JST cool_boy_mew @raccoon Here's the fun: WHICH #? This is a copied layout so I'm not that intimate with the code
And then I go to test it, and then return and the piece of shit has reset my position in the code
I should probably add more comments so I can easily find them againIn conversation permalink -
Trash Panda (raccoon@den.raccoon.quest)'s status on Tuesday, 19-Dec-2023 23:19:31 JST Trash Panda @coolboymew@shitposter.club Isn't it as simple as changing the # ?

josemanuel@qoto.org's status on Tuesday, 19-Dec-2023 23:30:38 JST josemanuel @coolboymew Just use Seamonkey’s own Developer Tools (Ctrl-Shift-C) and modify the CSS on the fly. (Of course, you’d have to write the values down and edit the actual files later, because you’re not really editing the page with the Inspector, just previewing the changes.)

cool_boy_mew (coolboymew@shitposter.club)'s status on Tuesday, 19-Dec-2023 23:39:58 JST cool_boy_mew @raccoon I dunno. I need to experiment which is why the whole thing has been kind of a pain, because the code emplacement resetting doesn't lead to experimenting
But the seamonkey developer options idea could help here, it's a good idea

I suppose I could just use that, save, and open it in a browser and it would be less of a hassle than composer currently for the colors :shrugz:In conversation permalink -

Yeah I figured it wasn't your cup of tea.
I was just saying that I wouldn't know.
BUT!
If you know the # of the color you dislike you can open the file on mousepad or whatever else, search and replace, put another color and you should be good to go.In conversation permalink cool_boy_mew likes this. -

Agartha_Noble (agartha_noble@shortstacksran.ch)'s status on Wednesday, 20-Dec-2023 01:29:23 JST Agartha_Noble @coolboymew @raccoon Get the extension "Live Preview", from the Extensions database, both VSC and Codium have access. It'll spin up a local webserver plus browser, which will let you look at your sheets in real time as you muck with them. Consider not writing raw CSS, and using a framework instead.
