     The problem is social media. For most, it is entertainment.

     Consequently, information value is beaten down by attention-seeking. It is the tragedy of the Commons yet again.

     That kind of stuff works on mainstream social media, but here, everything just scrolls past and gets forgotten.

     This drives down the quality of any single contribution.

     To be fair, the right way to use the #fediverse seems to be to block/mute content you do not wish to see.

     If Leftism is irrelevant to her, then she should mute/block those accounts that promote it.

     Same way I just muted 8,192 accounts which are shilling blogs, containers, podcasts, python, ruby, rust, haskell, go, Apple, and other irrelevant stuff.
