The Decider (the_decider@poa.st)'s status on Tuesday, 20-Dec-2022 04:35:12 JST The Decider @mmmfeet @WashedOutGundamPilot @PvtProperty It IS mostly their fault.
Boomers control all the wealth.
They lived through the easiest time in America. Everyone could afford a house. Everyone could go out and have fun and flirt without fear of a false rape accusation, fear of losing a job because of a slightly racist joke, or fear of physical harm.
Now, it is completely understandable that boomers would be lured into supporting Globohomo given how they grew up. It is completely understandable that they would have been duped by the pervasive propaganda in movies and TV.
After all, there was no alternative media back then.
But, now there is.
What is NOT forgivable, and why I hate boomers (with exceptions here and there) is it is now obvious that they were lied to. It is obvious that things are going downhill fast. It is obvious their grandkids and great-grandkids have it much worse off than they did and will be tortured, raped, and murdered if things don't change fast.
The boomer response?
"Screw 'em. I'm gonna live out my golden years in luxury vacationing in Hawaii and living the good life."
Boomers have the knowledge and wealth to turn things around. To at least help future generations to resist the evil that is coming, that is already here.
Instead, they squander their wealth on baubles and extravagancies for themselves. All while insulting the younger generations that they betrayed and sold out, having the gall to call them "entitled" and "spoiled"
Boomers deserve much worse than they will get.- Ardainian Hebrew Israelite likes this.

Woggy's Zeonic Frolicks (washedoutgundampilot@poa.st)'s status on Tuesday, 20-Dec-2022 04:35:17 JST Woggy's Zeonic Frolicks @PvtProperty Always assumed that was the natural outcome of keeping a very unhealthy bunch of people alive long past expiration. Once the boomers go it may shake up a lot, since younger generations can’t pay for the same level of care, and we’re all deferring preventive attention anyways.
Many won’t really have a chance to stretch out life another 50 years after their first fatal ailment

PvtProperty (pvtproperty@poa.st)'s status on Tuesday, 20-Dec-2022 04:35:18 JST PvtProperty Healthcare has been getting increasingly unaffordable for about as long as anyone here has been alive. I'm not sure how much longer it can go on.
