   @SDF Can anyone speak to what is going on with lemmy.sdf.org? It is running a release candidate instead of a stable release, and my client (Liftoff) hasn't been able to connect with the instance for some time now.

     @stgilbert why not contact the app's developer and ask them to update? the specification is open source and published. Many devs have already updated their code.

     @SDF I realize that whoever works this account may not have anything to do with managing the Lemmy server, but can you at least point me in the right direction?

     @SDF Most Lemmy app developers are working on version 19 support, and an issue is currently open with Liftoff as well. However, Lemmy 19 is not yet released, and yet lemmy.sdf.org has been running it for nearly a month with little to no communication about it. The only other major instance I can find that is running v19 is lemmy.ml, and they have an open thread about the upgrade responding to everyone who reports issues.
