   @feditips Hi! My account is here on mstdn.social, but I regularly want to explore the trends for the Netherlands by visiting https://mastodon.nl/explore .

   When I want to favourite/boost a toot I find there, I have to go through an extra step to first open it here.

   While this makes sense, I was wondering if there is a way to see the trends from another server without having to leave one's home server. Do you happen to know?

     Some third party apps let you follow another server's "Local" timeline so you can more easily interact with it:

     @feditips Hey, thanks for the prompt response! Although this is not exactly what I was asking about, it confirms my suspicion that the feature I'm asking for is probably not in any official clients either. Maybe I'll browse GitHub to see if it has already been filed and upvote it.

     For now, I'm strongly considering moving my account to the NL instance (following your helpful guide, of course 😉).
