There is no clear distinction between this non-existent "Pleroma Audio" and existent "Funkwhale Audio" apart from set of properties which can change at any moment on both sides. -

when i open up https://shigusegubu.club/objects/535e5d02-42f4-40ea-b692-4eb13c9ae954 (first post on my instance) I get a post.
when i open up https://shitposter.club/objects/13ffa3ec-5114-425d-b6e6-a94091b8805c (the so-caalled "Pleroma Audio") i get a {"error":"Not found"} so it might as well not exist. -

IT'S LITERALLY IN YOUR REPO AND WE'VE BEEN USING IT, IT EXISTS, IT JUST DOESN'T HAVE A FORMAL DOCUMENTATION -

LS (lain@lain.com)'s status on Wednesday, 29-Nov-2023 18:41:06 JST LS @NEETzsche @hj @Moon yeah, audio inherits all properties from document and doesn't add any, document inherits all properties from Object and doesn't add any. The standard really doesn't say much about how Audio might potentially look beyond 'yeah it's an object'. Machismo repeated this. -
NEETzsche (neetzsche@iddqd.social)'s status on Wednesday, 29-Nov-2023 18:41:07 JST NEETzsche You don’t need that. Also, this idea that the url field needs to refer to a URL that yields an ActivityPub Object JSON blob is incorrect. Even without offering a documentation of artist, title, album, and length, this line of thinking that it must refer specifically to what you think it should is not right.

Proud owner of a potato sack :flag: (hj@shigusegubu.club)'s status on Wednesday, 29-Nov-2023 18:56:24 JST Proud owner of a potato sack :flag: @lain @NEETzsche @Moon after looking at the standard myself, it's funking useless. As useless as a https://schema.org/MarryAction
I can feel it - a Java developer made this documentation. At least they are being honest when it comes to Place document, like "whatever man just make shit up, this section is non-normative". You might as well replace whole thing with "everything should be an object, make shit up".
So the point is to cooperate with other services in actual practice than following standard and imposing garbage on other services with excuse "standard said so"
