     @MMS21 @theorytoe I've seen a very funny technique for a drop-down-on-hover menu in CSS. It's not too difficult to do in general BUT if you hide it in any way, then try to animate it, it will fail; you can't start an animation while simultaneously making it visible or invisible. So they pushed it to like -9999999999999x instead, because that's perfectly acceptable.
