   Very risky, even with the protection of a corporation. Many nations prohibit guns on ships in Port. Right before you hit national waters you'd just chuck them over the edge.

     @Monsignor_DickFace It’s not doable. Sadly the only real jobs for cowboys looking to get experience w/ gunfights are either illicit drug trade enforcers (nepotism hires only sorry), private security in the global south (need at least 1 combat tour and a cool MOS to apply, even then it’s just like life in the sandbox where you jack off, bang locals, smoke hash, and take potshots at vehicles straying too close) or in-theater narc (maybe not too sure on this one but I suspect they have some pay for “mugging” in parts of the world)

     @WashedOutGundamPilot I thought my combat experience was adequate but all the firms I applied at said no so I took the hint and went to college.
     
     There was a brief time I considered the French Foreign Legion as well.

     @Monsignor_DickFace Yup. They’ve always been drowning in guys who apply, I heard the only real way to get hired is via voucher from a current guy. They don’t like tourists, they’d rather hire a guy w/ 2 tours and a bad divorce than a pissed off 24 yo looking to get blood under his nails.

     Gotta eat a lot of shit from locals outside the sandbox, guys didn’t really get that. It’s one thing when USG is backing you up a few miles away, something VERY diff. when you’re in ethiopia making sure the UN’s faggot receiver remains untouched for a few days
