@Rwoeidk@matrix@elftummy I'd like to get a concise take on the fat epidemic taking over the world. Take for example Mexico, they're fat as fuck but we imagine they move a lot more than Americans. Then consider the Asian countries, they have the same modern comforts as Americans but they remain relatively fit. So it must be down to diet, right? If so legislature could fix this.
@MoralPanic@Rwoeidk@matrix China actually has more obese Chinese than there are humans in the United States. The obesity epidemic, as some may refer to it, seems primarily to be caused by the environmental poisons that the boomers have created and worsened. The primary example many of us are aware of are seed oils Seed oils are a problem because they are what are referred to as XECs: xeno estrogenic compounds These mimic estrogen in the body and creates hormonal damage. This hormonal damage becomes compounded over the generations and there is a good chance it has created DNA issues as well Other XECs that we encounter on on a regular basis: Microplastics, pesticides, non-stick coatings, and many more It is much worse and a much greater scope than the trumped up lead epidemic ever was or ever will be. The fallout from this shall last us into the 2200s if humans are still around by then
@MoralPanic@Rwoeidk@matrix@elftummy It's a number of factors. America's obesity is a combination of car culture, low physical activity jobs, SSRI physique, and all our food being made out of candy.
