     I found out my oldest son, 9, didn't know how to read an old fashioned clock, (my youngest does), and it literally took 30 minutes of me breaking it down with doodles on paper and he understood it just fine and could tell the time. For Christmas I'm getting him an analog watch.
     
     So for schools to do this is retarded imo..
