   I took a screen capture of a YouTube video like a retarded boomer because their subtitles are really nice. I tried using ffmpeg to bake in the ripped subtitles but they were fugly.

     @coin YouTube basically dynamically pops in each word as the guy speaks, it's also rendered nicely. I take that same subtitle data as downloaded via yt-dlp and throw it into ffmpeg and it starts stacking shit in a way that actually makes it hard to read.
