Aw, shit, here we go again. It's Super Mario Galaxy time.
I'll do as with the others and pretend this is gonna be good. :pepeOK:
First impression: the logo looks good...
I gotta say all the good things while I can 'cause sooner or later the game will backstab me for trusting it.
Also, they adapted the interface to use handheld mode, on top of joy-cons.

@Rasterman Rosalina is so much better and hotter than Peach that it's not even funny.
-
@ChristiJunior @Rasterman I'd SMASH HER, BROS, if you know what I mean
-
Smash Bros' Rosalina makes a cameo in this game, it seems.

Proof that toads are useless. Didn't expect Nintendo to confirm it this clearly.
The moment trouble strikes, they don't know what to do, leaving everything up to the White man. Toads are mestizo-coded.

The graphics look good for a Wii game. The camera is fixed. Not sure if that's good or bad, considering it's been consistently one of the most dangerous enemies in all 3D Marios I've played.
Also, I'm hoping the game will eventually explain why is Mario collecting X-Parasites from Metroid Fusion. :pepe_feelsweird:

For some reason, you can pick a character's head to represent your save file. Since it's 89% likely I'll end up hating this because [3D Mario], to avoid hating Mario more, I'm not using his face to prevent further negative associations.
Other options included Yoshi (he's a good boy, doesn't deserve the hate either) and Peach (I'm no stinky GIRL, so I'm not using her).
And right off the bat, this nigger toad greets me to the Mushroom Kingdom. This better be a prequel or I'm gonna have bad things to say about a character assuming Mario is a newcomer when he's saved Peach so many times.
And what's with the hoplite gear?

@Rasterman >Also, why does Bowser have spaceships but the toads are "protecting" Peach with spear and shield?
The natural end results of Patriarchy VS the natural results of Matriarchy.

Rosalina assumes Peach means something to Mario. Clearly the other way around would have been a wrong assumption.
Also, why does Bowser have spaceships but the toads are "protecting" Peach with spear and shield?

More lore: Mario's lives are really different Marios. Every time a Mario dies, another Mario takes his place, confirming it's not just video game mechanics; but an in-game explanation for losing lives.
Do new Marios have the memories of old Marios? Do they remember dying? Are they brand new Marios? Surely they have memories of being a Mario. A lot to think about... Better pause the game and go to my study and start looking for answers in my quantum mechanics books...

@WandererUber @Rasterman Replace Isabelle (niggers, WTF are you doing?) with Rosalina, and this image is right on the money.

@ChristiJunior Based Nintendo for showing how backwards the Mushroom Kingdom has become under Peach's air-headed glassy stare.
