   Hey fedi, thought experiment.
   
   You have two apples, one is just starting to be a bit odd, maybe a bit soft on one side, the other is a bit poorer, maybe it's already starting to rot in a part. You'll probably need to cut it out, or eat carefully around it.
   You want to eat an apple, so which do you eat, and why?
   (Feel free to substitute the apples for anything else with similar properties.)
   
   Alternate scenario: Someone else has the apples and is offering you one.
   Alternate alternate: They had three and have already chosen one for themself.

     @Zerglingman that would depend on how soon I feel I'll eat the other apple.
     If I think I'll be eating the other apple soon, like tomorrow tops, then I eat the worse one first since it has less time to still be edible. The other one can hold one more day and still be OK.
     If I'm just eating something quickly before taking a plane and I'll be away for a week, for instance, I'll just trash the worse one and eat the better one, since it will be bad by the time I get back.

     But then, I am not on poast.

     But then, they realized the game is just a lovely and comfy incest love story (and between brother and sister, no two brothers or other fucked up stuff they would like to see), and they got big mad because of it.

A friend remarked to me a while ago that people are predisposed to binary options; cats or dogs, tea or coffee, ios vs android, etc. It's often impossible to get the idea that you like birds, no hot drinks and no proprietary software etc.
     (Though I don't think anything is quite so mindblowing as "I hate mint, mint toothpaste is foul", but that's beside the point.)
     I've theorised that this may be an English phenomenon, due to how our language is geared; if you say "A or B", it's harder to extend - or alter - that to "A, B or C" than eg. Japanese where the equivalent is actually just "A or B or C". And they certainly seem to no have no qualms about having accounts on every service. But maybe that's unrelated.
     
     Anyway, I'm also harvesting all of these third-option responses for VN design.
