     @Zerglingman @greentext that's fair logic. But... that's just not how it seems to play out in the real world. I'll agree that homosexuality has a lot of strange comorbidities. I'm not sure if the homosexuality is an expression of underlying unhealthy psychopathology or that homosexuality leads to those things. I'm glad that the man2man alliance exists a movement towards man2man sex that is less psychologically damaging.
     
     But yes... I understand your logic but it doesn't play out in the statistics and there's also a contradiction when you see the sorts of things gay and straight men find attractive. If you compare these two porn stars, you'll see that one looks more mature and the other has a more neotenous appearance. Obviously this isn't the rule but I think these two by and large are a good representation of the ideal man and woman by pornographic standards.

     @PonyPanda @greentext In the first image on that post you linked, there is a far more relevant stat from a different study, that very explicitly says that the incidence rate of pedophilia among homos is much higher than the general population.
     Therefore, homos are far more likely to be pedos.
     The "cannard" about this is true.

     There have been other studies where the sexuality of the pedophiles was determined with phallometric studies. They would put electrodes on the men's penises to observe their arousal when exposed to gay porn and straight porn.

     This is going to be tricky. I’m just trying to find out what percentage of the population was gay in 1991.

     The American National Health Interview Survey conducts household interviews of the civilian non-institutionalized population. The results of three of these surveys, done in 1990–91 and based on over 9,000 responses each time, found between 2% and 3% of the people responding said yes to a set of statements which included “You are a man who has had sex with another man at some time since 1977, even one time.”[23]

     That’s just asking if they’d had sex with a man. You can have sex with a man and not be gay and you can be gay and not have had sex with a man.
