@1967GTO @deprecated_ii TBH I’d hire a miner in a second. Guys with real hard living under their belt are usually pretty damn good, and they should have some critical thinking skills that most do not.

If a new kid is talented, they aren't a threat to anyone (except the talentless). Too late to gatekeep, and in this case all that does is protect seniority. Licensing only heaps yet another layer of bureaucracy onto an existing clusterfuck.
Just put MERIT back where it belongs, problem solved. -
