     @moomin Have had multiple, tense arguments with two sep exes about their otherwise trad attitudes surrounding everything BUT their gross torture porn “horror” movie hobby. I think it tickles the same type of weirdness porn gooning does when they see pretty girls getting tortured and dismembered on screen, but they’d freak and pretend it’s actually healthy b/c women “need to study crime to protect themselves”

     @skylar @moomin I was in HS when this girl wanted me to watch her fave movie and she was getting all squealy, bright eyed when they had a naked blonde girl hanging from shackles and frozen/dismembered.

     That was the first brush with that weird psych issue, and it’s been one of the most irritating, surprise landmines in women since. You never know who has it until they start talking about those movies, either.

     Part of it has to be the whole “ew that girl’s prettier than me, haha not so pretty are ya now u blood-eagled bitch?“ vibe but the rest IS their weird repressed desire for strength and carnality maybe. IDK.

     @Zerglingman @MechaSilvio @moomin Maybe if she feels insecure. That evolutionary streak can be sated if she feels safe and secure by staying in your community/family. Literally every white girl I’ve ever gotten to know well has loathed the negroid featureset, zero coalburners in my family/community to the point that the few black kids I have known had SERIOUS mental issues

     The white kids would be ‘antiracist’ on the surface, but wouldn’t ever go out with them. They’d get applause for joining the football team, friendly smiles in the hallway, but every crush would shoot them right down, at MOST go on a chaste, kissless movie date before ending it
