@neko I own a Kobo Libra H2O because that is what I purchased. It runs Linux, actually Linux, with root and everything, not Android. I installed KOReader onto it because reasons. It can also be a web server or whatever because it runs Linux, I don't do this though.
@crunklord420@neko@s8n I had some cheap Pocketbook reader a while ago, it had its own SDK so someone wrote a client to mirror the desktop to its screen over wifi, as well as crappy terminal emulator without monospace fonts. You could root it by tearing it down and getting the internal microSD card out, then mounting the partition and running passwd. Not much of use for it with 256 megs of RAM, aside from maybe running Alpine in chroot.
