     @CrustyB @LordMordred @Waldbrand Yeah, I know, man, theory doesn’t always match up w/ reality even when you’re bringing out the measuring tape and aiming for the brainstem.

     Even the high-speed, primo .22 stuff isn’t reliable in putting down sheep/goats/dogs over 100 lbs, thereabouts

     @LordMordred @CrustyB @Waldbrand It’s deadly, I’m just saying that if your goal is putting animals totally out like a switch it ain’t reliable. You’ll be pumping in multiple rounds to hurry things up.

     Even if you try to really hit the grape just right there’s a good chance it will sit there huffing and suffocating to death in a panic, it’s sad to see. On humans, there’re plenty of stories about how guys take a 22 to the head and waddle into the hospital a few hours later complaining of a headache.

     Deadly? yeah, but not immediate, and not guaranteed. It’s always a dice roll
