     @givenup @peemasons Lucky! I’ve tried to plant a few things but I’m the only one willing to put effort into keeping them up, they either get munched by the chickens or the big critters.

     In my dreams I have 500 sq ft to grow potatoes and corn

     @givenup @peemasons as long as you got hands to help, that’s always my mitigating factor. I can’t be home enough to tend to everything, and most of the family support is geographically distributed around the state.

     IDK what people do with goats, we’ve had them off and on and aside from filling up the manure pile and eating old crappy hay they don’t do much good. Then again…..nothing but cows are, unless you have pack animals to rent out for hunting season

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @peemasons my dream is to have like 4 acres to raise goats and chickens, and lay out a good crop rotation of lots of beans, corn, and potatoes, and various green veg, but staples are eggs, beans, and potatoes, maybe corn, but thats something i could sell, people buy the shit out of sweet corn around here, but dreams are dreams, who knows if it'll happen.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @peemasons well i'm unemployed and i never will be, farming is the only thing i've ever enjoyed and could see myself doing full time whether i can sell stuff to acutally make some money or not, i still wanna be able to get to the point of barely having to buy food at all i got all day to mess with this, and my experiments aren't all going shitty, potato harvests were slightly disappointing but *shrug*
