     @itsfoss @ubuntu Although linux mint was the first distro that I installed on my laptop but Ubuntu was the first distro that introduced me to Linux desktop and I used it in VM(virrual box). I liked mint and installed it but got screen tearing and switched to Ubuntu for a while and switched back to mint after a while but I liked both of them. It was an amazing journey for me with linux.

     Ubuntu 6.06 was my 3rd Linux experience after Slackware and Debian. Canonical sent me a complete set of CDs, which I still have. Then I bought Suse Linux. I have been using Debian as my main operating system for about 20 years. I'm currently using Spiral Linux (Debian Bookworm).

     @itsfoss @ubuntu My first Linux distro was Mandriva, because I found somewhere that it's the easiest one for beginners. But quickly I switched to Ubuntu, first it was Gutsy Gibbon, I kept using it all the way to Maverick Meerkat (I still remember those names!) Then I switched to Windows for some time, and came back a few years later. Now I am writing it from Jammy Jellyfish that's on one of my computers, but for the rest I switched to Mint. Ubuntu has been with me for 16 years now.
