     @Terry You can really see how the guys running the show haven’t quite adapted to the fast pace of comms today. They’re accustomed to having a little cooling off period, where they don’t have a million eyes scrutinizing each word and publication for a slip up.

     Back in the day they could change things, edit, adapt the story and select the most optimal propaganda route without the average tard noticing the shift. Now, there’s a chain of custody for each take of the news, and the old men w/ veto power are sticking their hands in expecting it to work the way it always has. Instead, it only highlights their actions every time they meddle.

     @DutchBoomerMan @Terry @givenup In the moment, maybe. Part of the reason they’re keen to implement that chain of custody anti-“misinformation” ecosystem to prevent all unauthorized images online is because of stuff like this. Look at how much headway we’ve made in one generation. We’re far wiser on the JQ than our parents….now how do you think OUR kids will be with even MORE data, proof, and evidence?

     They have to find a way to shut it down, to prevent people reposting these constant missteps, they see their survival riding on it.

     The only reason we even have a public Internet at all is because those men you speak of didn't get it. If they had understood the Internet's potential when it was still under DARPA's control, they wouldn't even want the modern pozzed version we have now. They would've immediately ordered it smothered in its crib.
