   If you can't get value, of some kind, from virtually everything you read, you're ngmi. They're either giving you good info, telling you something about the world, or revealing how they fell into error. But it all has value if YOU love and pursue the truth.

     I've read the communist manifesto. Had great value for me because it's horrible, but helped me understand my enemies.

     @idea_enjoyer @d0c40r0 @internetfreak That’s precisely what I loathe about Bronze Age Pervert (great name to build a super serious political ideology to supposedly chart the course of western civ, let’s see how THAT plays out).

     Nothing is compartmentalized or easy to share, it’s all lengthy, meandering jabber like I’m asking a psychedelics guy to explain his outlook on life.

     If they cared about propagation, they’d break it down into bullet points in order to entice people to join better. But they actually LIKE requiring a 3-hours-of-your-life buy-in. That’s why I think it’s largely a dead end fad. It’s guys in mediocre jobs daydreaming about having the soul of Hektor while they tweak their stack on an empty stomach.

     @idea_enjoyer @d0c40r0 @internetfreak It’s about consideration for the time of your fellow man. It’s arrogant to say “fuck you, in order to learn about MY pristine genius ideology you need to read my entire book and listen to at least 5.8 hours of my podcast”.

     Every other ideology has no complaints about making an elevator pitch, a simple, condensed teaser to sell someone on their faith in as little time as possible. BAPists don’t have that at all, and the fact they’re the only apparent dissident bloc allowed to remain on twitter gets fishier by the day.

     Earlier I mentioned Tomassi in a conversation with Otto van shitpost and he freaked out about bronze Age Pervert, who I wasn't even discussing.
     
     That level of discourse is just unserious. I'm all for writing off bad actors, but first I need to understand that they ARE bad actors, and HOW, if I'm to give reason for the things I do and not just be an automaton for anyone that wants to manipulate me.
     
     And if I mindlessly write someone off, then confuse them for someone else, then my centimeter level understanding means nothing

     Why does he trigger people? His book was mildly thought provoking, his Twitter account is completely missable, but certain people here, when BAP is brought up, lose the ability to reason and just start screeching.
     
     This, for me, is quite interesting. The only other people I know that are triggered so hard by BAP are religious conservatives.

     The fact that he was a nobody but suddenly the biggest thorn in the side of mainstream GOP articles (except Jack Murphy, he rather liked BAM)? He’s THE alt-right guy to the NPR caste now? The Playgirl pinups of gay porn stars, pretending it’s about “appreciating the physique”? This is literally his TL right now.

     I keep an open mind on him even now because I’m holding out hope there’s something in there of value to us, but judging from his followers I remain unimpressed. It smells the same as mgtow in the real world: Guys working garbage, dead end jobs while they go to the gym and while away their lives. Soma, living day to day without a greater plan while telling themselves they’re more like a greek hero of old than a pleasure addicted normie.

     The whole warlord physique/ancient philosophy lifestyle is cool as long as society collapses into warring fiefdoms while you’re in your prime combat years….but if it doesn’t, oops! Another sterilized bloodline!

     @idea_enjoyer @d0c40r0 @internetfreak Funny part is I was going to look up one of his more famous “wait, that’s not a page one ‘gay’ search result, how would he find that homo erotica without being deep into the game?” posts but I wanted to be fair so I pulled him his literal, IRL right now twitter and scrolled down until I saw nude men and got that screenshot.

     In the interest of fairness i scrolled down a bit more to show it’s NOT all gay porn, there’s diet and weight loss tips, minorities too.

     There's guys worth hating, I listed Rod Dreher and David French as people worth reading, but I hate those guys. There is still value in reading them.
     
     If you can't understand why people that you hate are worth reading you're missing the entire point of what I'm trying to say.

     @idea_enjoyer @d0c40r0 @internetfreak I get it and agree to an extent, but I don’t think that BAP is worth my time like that. I can judge him by his behavior and followers and come away comfortable with the fact he’ll ultimately be a diversion, some flash in the pan nobody remembers in 25 years outside a core cadre of fans.

     If he weren’t forced into my purview at every turn on twitter (when I’m only on it to respond to clients and see industry news) it might not be as stinky to me. BAP is a more dangerous figurehead because no 20 year old white guy is taking life advice from David French or Rod Dreher - but he’s definitely listening to BAP. I also take serious issue when the greater BAP sphere is boosting this message that being a father is a waste of time, particularly the blackpilling take that the only way you CAN be a dad is via racemixing.

     “LIVE WITH FIRE” sounds cool but these faggots are working the same gay, froofy WFH white collar jobs as the rest of us. They just feel heroic because they’re jacked on stimulants and supplements.
