I mean there are people like Ron Paul, in my view who is decent. And Trump who while being a Zionist fanboy, probably the least fucked up of all post WW2 presidents.
Boomers got the best of everything handed to them and its sad to see it all pissed away very hard. I think the overwhelming prosperity and hedonism from 1950s onwards screwed them up hard.
But I keep forgetting about the Gen Xers. -

Ron Paul is Silent Gen. Boomers are only the ones born post-WW2. -

Boomers went through the same “this stable productive culture is oppression” phase in the 1960s. Older millenials pulled the same schtick too, whining about the safe corporate jobs and middle class lifestyle they picked up before the rug pull hit them.

It was growing up at the tail end of the Industrial Revolution and all the chaotic changes that introduced.
If you go back and read contemporary young people's accounts at the time of the Great Depression, it sounds a lot like the younger millennials' doomerism. Family legacies were being destroyed with no replacement, but the difference was they retained a stronger belief in the family itself, and the possibility of support that could come from it.
Then again it also spawned (literal) faggotry like the "beat generation" and modernist forms of nihilism. The broader culture just never let that reactionary sub culture overtake it.Ardainian Hebrew Israelite likes this.
