     @AngryWraith The neighbor’s trick of tasty rat poison in some canned meat left in the side of the yard comes to mind. IDK if that works, actually, IIRC it’s based on vitamin D overdose so it’s not all that eff. Maybe something better to get rid of the vermin creeping along your house.

     @RupertvonRipp @AngryWraith It’s not even a question of if it’s right or not to kill it, given the demographics and the outcomes that are likely, it ought to be put down. I’m not up on the non-ballistic euthanasia methods though. I hear that most OTC poisons are ineffective compared to the old ones. I have neighbors asking for 20 year old rat poison because it used to be an anticoagulant bomb, but people used it too much and now it’s this shitty liver failure crap that might not reliably put down a larger predator.

     I’m just paranoid because faggots and nextdoor narcs are always on the watch for “animal cruelty” whenever anything happens to vermin. If we can’t have qualms about the old man down the lane plugging coyotes off his porch, I’m not losing sleep out of putting down a wandering pitbull. But an ailing, whimpering shitbull makes for great housewife sobbing fodder, and they’ll go out of their way to find the “teens” who “poisoned it for fun”
