@ChristiJunior That explanation is peak Orient. Their minds just work differently from Westerners, for better or worse.
On one hand they'll say "Sheikah technology disappeared and no one thought to research the matter further", meanwhile you run into many archæologists obsessed with the Zonai, Gerudo and Goron lore. And the Sheikah are helping research the ring ruins and not a single albino Jap mentions their ancestors or the machines they built.
Not to mention the gigantic shrine rooms, which are no more... the empty space filled with dirt? There were four millions Sheikah shrines in Hyrule. In Tears of the Kingdom, 5 million disappeared. What happened to the remaining 3 million shrines is a mystery. :merchant_cry:
@rlier23@ChristiJunior That's Western reasoning. It makes sense. No Japanese person considered it nor thought it necessary. This should be covered by HBD bloggers. :pepe_newspaper:
@luithe@ChristiJunior Hey, hey... that's not true. He said this: These medieval peasants, some born into a post-apocalyptic world, who've been surviving on scraps for 100 years saw giant robots fire a beam of energy at Hyrule Castle and then they disappeared. Nobody found that worthy of comment or investigation. It was Tuesday for them.
@rlier23@ChristiJunior@Rasterman no there's a time gap between that fight to when they are in the cave Basically, the world was normal until link and Zelda fucked around in the cave and found out and then the world turned upside down of repetitive areas like crown of the iron king dlc
@Rasterman@ChristiJunior@luithe i mean also consider that after the calamity a shit ton of pieces of land just rose into the sky for no apparent reason, all the while all the weapons in the kingdom went rusty and shit
