>Burrito is 70% filler
-
@marlin something like that
-
@coolboymew Is the percentage based on episode contents not found in manga?
-
@coolboymew oh wow.. looks like i made a good decision not to bother watching it
-
@Pendragon someone on the fedi says the beginning of the anime is actually pretty kino because it's completely different, some sort of episodic feel good thing going on but the rest ruined it
-
@coolboymew What is terrible about Bleach is that it engages on a 60 episode filler saga just at the beginning of the anime
-
@pip Was there any fillers before the bount filler arc?
-
@coolboymew no i'm sorry, i referred to this very arc
-
@pip nooot quite the beginning, but yeah, that arc sucked ass and I dropped it right there
-
@coolboymew sure, but still a little too early, methinks. But hey, after that things get really good. Or perhaps i'm biased, because it was the first anime i've ever watched
-
@coolboymew @pip Not really, the Bount arc was the first Filler *arc*. Kinda awkwardly, it's also canon to the anime, which I don't really think is the case for the others (though a flashback of Byakuya's past fights during his clash with As Nodt did very briefly show a clip from his biggest Zanpakuta Rebellion arc fight, implying that arc too is canon, even if it was never really referred to again during the non-filler episodes).
-
@ChristiJunior @coolboymew the others are of an abominable-level stupidity. Take the arc about the zanpakutou rebellion for instance
-
@ChristiJunior @coolboymew how is that canon? It didn't add anything to the story, despite the flashback
-
@pip @coolboymew I mean that in the anime, Bount arc characters will keep popping up during canon scenes, specifically the stuffed animal trio. This happened quite a lot during the early parts of the Arrancar arc.
