     @caekislove Women are a lot better at coalition building, tribe maintenance, tracking the intricacies of relationships & alliances though. That’s why the man/woman combo is good. We do the hard logistical machine work, and they keep a loose coalition of people to back us up and make sure we have extra resources to call upon.

     Most dudes are very inattentive towards the human element, it’s not interesting to us in the visceral way hard stuff like tools, machines, and structures are. It’s why we’ll spend the day w/ a buddy and be able to give a full rundown of his car build but not know a single whit about how his divorce is going.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @caekislove Nah, I've heard this for years and don't buy it. Men are the most unconscientious people in the world. They are also the most conscientious. In my experience women are the least consistent in being conscientious. Just like the intelligence bell curve, it's flatter for men but a standard deviation ahead of women who's average clusters towards mediocrity or worse in the virtue.
     
     The main burden of male responsibility in my life and in the lives of all the men I observe around me regarding our women is the patience we have with their utter thoughtlessness. Perhaps a well groomed woman will learn what to divert her energy towards but I have never seen such sans a male leading them in such a way. Likewise I have never seen women naturally make bonds with other women in a vacuum anywhere approaching that between men, nor ply some mythical feminine guile to diffuse a situation. To the contrary It has always been cooler headed men to navigate such troubled social waters in my experience. If anything their only leverage would be to force men to take the burden of them into account when considering confrontation with another.
     
     I suspect the reason many guys will relate to your summation is because many of our recent generations, God help the Zoomers, have had to feel their way towards the masculine rolls with every societal pressure except the reality of their relationships telling them to do otherwise. The ONLY exceptions I have ever encountered were Nuns and individuals of excellence like Florence Nightingale, all of whom had extremely influential and hands on male tutelage and in their writings expressed every contempt for common women of all social strata, especially those baying for access to what was effectively social manhood.
     It's very easy, especially today, for men to forgo their duties of leadership and just say "yes honey"; that was Adam's first sin in a way.

     @Gelert @caekislove We don’t know what healthy male bonding dynamics are like, because the chain was broken 50 years prior and never reforged. All we have are inferences and assumptions about how things were in the olden days, but we have never seen them modeled ourselves.

     What you CAN see is that guys are the ones who get wrapped up into their own projects and issues to the detriment of the community around them. They’ll think nothing of littering the front yard with the hulks of half a dozen “classic” cars because a driven man is a world in his own mind, only the conscientious concern of his wife snaps him out of the fugue when she says the rest of the neighborhood doesn’t want to open the blinds to see a junkyard every morning.

     That at least is the tiniest microcosm of the dynamic I can think of, and the interplay between man and wife let you both maximize the strengths of both roles. You apply your talents and override her where appropriate, and she makes sure you have the votes to prevent the city from adding high-density housing in the vacant plot down the lane.

     @Gelert @caekislove Then you just haven’t lived the kinds of biz I have. I’ve seen these dynamics work to family’s benefit pretty consistently - but I’ve swam in pretty unorthodox career waters for a long time. I’m probably skewed by seeing a lot of successful small biz ops that grew entirely on the backs of a white man/woman pairing.

     It bugs me how people conflate the potential of a well-bred, quality white woman with the middling performance of the modern mutt-THOT today. Women can be wonderful assets when handled and used correctly, it’s arrogance to assume we can handle everything under the sun to absolute perfection.

     Exactly, so how exactly is denying the generalisation of the entire breadth of the population in favour of a small subset benefitting anyone except your selected margin in your "biz" circles?
     There's a huge block between "THOT" and "power partner" that covers the vast majority of women. Even then, to what standard are you even going to hold the THOTs too if you don't recognise the generalisation?
     
     This is all arguing to the utility side of things but It is still wrong per-se for a Man to forgo his duty of leadership or a Woman to hold authority over man.
