   but even if they did, Amazon has more money and political leverage than God - i wouldnt put it past them for a second to just hire private security contractors who start making things very difficult for would be looters

     No, they'll definitely hire proper mercs when it matters. Diversity is to stop unions from forming, once it endangers the stock it's out.
