   The reason why they are selling people on eating bugs instead of slightly-lower-quality but wildly abundant game meat (that has to be harvested to preserve ecosystems btw) is part humiliation, but mostly because bugs require no refrigeration, and they are prepping you for a future living like a South African with limited access to electricity (load shedding).
