But it could just be video compression. The part that gets me is the rebound of the red part (from a non red car) hitting the dude at the same speed it flew off the car. No way a good portion of the energy wouldn't have been absorbed into whatever object the part rebound off of (meaning it should be moving significantly slower on the rebound).
