     Hey I remember this, didn’t this have a legion of trucrimecels and hysteric spinsters fighting on the side of the mudshark? I recall my girl breathlessly describing this nightmare in awe that so few of these people took the dad’s side

     I'm gonna say something
     
     I've seen situations, not this bad, but bad, where EVERYBODY takes the side of the perp. This is not an isolated case, it's far more common for a community to side with the bad guy than you would think, even in so called red State Bible belt America.
     
     I've seen it happen twice, and I would not want to be those people on judgment day.
