     You see it on Twitter all the time, with the "ratio" thing, where they don't even need to argue, they just call "ratio" and wait for the herd to like their post, and when they get more likes than your original post, they feel like they won and you got completely rekt.
     Reddit is also completely based on this premise, where having more updoots means you are more right.
     
     Unfortunately this kind of shit doesn't work in the fedi because it's too insular and descentralized, that's why their communities don't flourish in here.
