   I looked up the story of starfield, it seems rather underwhelming for an epic adventure. Maybe they had issues with development?

     @lain Thats surprising, I played it all the way through and I thought the story was the stand-out part, it's better than any of Bethesda's other stories by a very long shot imo

     @lain trio played it on stream and I watched it with no prejudices going in (I have heard people making fun of bethesda but I don't know why.) The game looks ugly and boring to me after watching about four hours of it but I admit that's a first impression and it may be a taste thing and not objectively bad.

     @lain I was actually thinking earlier today about Amy Schumer's comedy career, I don't like her at all but tons of people do and it's hard to criticize humor like "she's unfunny" but clearly she is funny, people aren't faking being entertained by her. but I just don't see it either. I am trying to be more respectful of people's taste on things like this, (with a few principled exceptions)

     @lain @Moon I've enjoyed plenty of Bethesda games, to me from @why streaming the start of the game it seemed like more of the same thing, but with a generic sci-fi setting instead of a cool retro-futuristic setting or the sometimes batshit insane Elder Scrolls lore. Maybe one day when it's cheap I'll pick it up.
