     I knew this shit was gonna happen which is why I wasn't excited for the engine update.
     
     They are killing off everything we know about HI3 and putting a new game in it's place.
     
     Even the combat and (possibly gacha currency) is different now
     
     HI3 is finished.

     @Meemoo I just wanted slightly better graphics, a new UI thats not dogshit and an engine that did not make my RTX3090 sound like a jet engine due to the godawful optimization of the old engine.
     
     Not a single familiar face in the reveal trailer. Its just starrail with action combat now.
     
     Especially the selfinsert MC is a slap in the dick. Seriously fuck off. not every miho has to follow the same fucking template.

     @Meemoo I like the new party setup. This was long overdue since the old character select was not made with 50+ battlesuits in mind and was pain in the ass.
     Looks like old events are replayable. If true this was another long overdue feature that they should have implanted BEFORE wrapping up the captain verse. :reimu_sigh:
     
     The UI look like a starrail copypaste though. should have kept the iconic blue and yellow.
     
     They might as well have renamed its honkai impact 3rd classic and put in maintaince mode instead of pulling this shit.

     Instead she got shoved aside in favor of the most boring fucking character in the entire cast: durandal.
     
     Why the hell do they keep treating Theresa like shit?
     Same with the twins. They were training under Theresa at some point in the plot but they just ignored this entirely and practically memory holed the characters entirely. Fuck you.

     @Suzu @Meemoo @Melusine I guess they got too corpo and they'll slap the genshin template on all of their games now. Not understanding that Kiana journey was one of the major things that made Honkai Impact 3rd the game that it was.
     Fuck this self insert shit. You can't pull off moments like Final Lesson and its after effects with a self insert. Kiana coming to terms with Himeko's self sacrifice was one of the best moments in the game.
