     @Hoss @jeffcliff @Elliptica @WashedOutGundamPilot I'm a gay half-cuban with agnostic leanings, and I almost went postal at the last company I worked for that offered this kind of bullshit.
     
     Quote from my now-former VP: "If we're already sacrificing our weekends for this job, why not a few more hours every day?"
     
     (Said in the context of him running by his idea to add more to an already overloaded worklist, for a department that was already severely understaffed. On top of that, I was covering the weekend shifts of everyone who got fired, and cutting my lunches down to the legal minimum just to stay on top of my workload.)
     
     I almost ripped that Bugman apart on the spot. It'd have taken months to squeegie the blood off those fancy glass walls....

     @LionelValentineAborted @Hoss @jeffcliff @Elliptica I used to work for a group who constantly scheduled these mandatory cheerleading meetings on saturdays. The whole thing was supposed to motivate us and remind us of how wonderful it was to to be engaged in our industry, instead it just wasted your sat/sun as you had to commute there and spend a day “team building” with people you…..only ever saw at those meetings.

     I’m still angry at myself for putting up with it, if I could go back I’d just skip them all and tell them to fire me if they cared that much about feeding us 5 dollar pizza and watch slideshows about the sob stories they’re working on
