     @Zerglingman @ceo_of_monoeye_dating @iska @Fash-E @zero Same idea. They show up in a couple flavors since some cards negate the activation of specific effects while other flattly negate all of cards effects for the rest of the turn.

     Yeah, they're no fun. In Magic they actually just suck ass because people always bitch about them so they're never allowed to be good. They suck ass because you either waste mana or signal to everyone that you can't use them currently.

     @Zerglingman @ceo_of_monoeye_dating @iska @Fash-E @zero People still complain about them in Yugioh, but most of them are more telegraphed aside from hand traps like Ash Blossom which can be discarded to negate an effect that would draw a card or add a card from the deck to the hand, or Infinite Impermanence which negates the effects of a monster on field until the end of turn. Most other negates will either be as facedown traps or as monster effects. Yugioh is mostly a game about building and breaking boards these days, though Konami is on crack again and the current big deck is just an annoying floodgate combo deck.

     @zero@strelizia.net negates like ash. If you have this catgirl in your hand and your opponent is about to do almost anything, you can just pull her out and say No. Every good deck has at least 2 of this card.
