   Bone Stasis has a weird uncanny art start, I like it, clearly lots of composite artwork. Maybe "Hyperrealism" as a style. I've strongly suspected the use of AI generation in their assets, the text in this artwork really nails it down as AI.
   
   Not to narc of course, since Valve apparently has a ban on AI art generation. It works well for them.

     @dcc Valve is just looking for legal guidance/case-law before proceeding. AI generated assets are going to happen, instead of being open about it gamedevs will just not admit it and make sure to throw everything through photoshop first because literally that's what the copyright courts said lmao.

     AI art etc being taboo is on its face retarded. I use AI art, and even AI text, in my zine, that people actually pay for, with real money, and I do so openly. And the thing the courts demand is what you have to do anyway, because what AI art does entirely on its own is basically trash. You think we just typed in a prompt and got what we wanted, first try, no tweaking, no editing and resubmitting, no futzing with it?
