     if you have a culvers near you they make decent curds. never asked them about poutine but if you make some fries and grab curds from them you could whip up a beef gravy or demi-glace to make yer own batch.

     The gravy is modified beef gravy IIRC. There has to be ingredients around. You can also import cans, or well expensive, dry powder that turns into poutine sauce. But importing might just be too expensive. There gotta be decent recipes around

It's maybe a bit saltier, and it's usually sold in bricks rather than irregular curds, but it has the same squeaky texture as fresh cheese curds.
