   I don't understand the pronoun issue with Starfield. I'm guessing you pick your pronouns during character creation. He/She, and then I imagine some neo-pronoun bullshit. Fine, whatever. This is a single player game, right? you wouldn't use them. Since it's also a first-person game, NPCs wouldn't use them either, they'll just refer directly to YOU. So in what situation would the pronouns actually be used?

     AZ blew it out of proportion intentionally to make a point about the greater industry at large and to make a funny rant. They are never used in the game.

     If we were the ones making these games, the lefties would be screeching at seeing a character creation matrix that makes you choose between “Neo-Spenglerian”, “Hardline Butlerian”, “Dirlewangerian”, “Nietzchean”, etc.

     Even if they aren’t used in-game, it’s a signal that you’re stepping into our team’s territory, and you’ll be swimming in our cultural waters.
