   They got popular because they were giving out like rewards to the top streamers, so if you could bring over a few hundred people from another site, you could easily get 4 or 500 bucks on their leaderboard.

   Ralph brought over enough people that he was constantly hitting the number one and getting that extra payout every single time, until Jim started streaming his morning shows.

     Hello, I had asked a bunch of you guys about the rise of Stream.me a few months ago and I never got a response. Since then I've been completing my articles and will likely be posting them either today or tomorrow. They're about 90% done. They will be Part 9 and 10 of my Lords of Porn series.
     
     For those of you who don't remember (or I hadn't asked directly), my question was "how did stream.me become popular among us?" I'm asking this as they're owned by people who also own porn sites (details will be in my articles). I would like an answer to the above question as I wish to include it in my article. But I will be posting the articles whether or not I get a response, as this project has taken months and I need to move on.
     
     Edit: Follow-up question to anyone who communicated with stream me staff over email.
     What company name did they sign their emails under? Was it Accretive technologies or ICF technologies? Or just stream.me or something else?
