A lot of youtubers should just stop the second they start eyeing it as a career. When they came out w/ the first wave of long form essays about all the many missteps of that star wars trilogy, there was something there if you’re into the art of writing well. THere was meat.
But once they started turning it from a passion project to a job, then they started turning it all into sausage, watching EVERY zogslop movie that comes out to give it the same treatment. You wanna talk about hell? That’s it. Stuck watching every disney/marvel/zog property until the end of time, bleeding away subscribers and patrons as the “unemployed” gap on your resume grows. Before you know it you’re 35 and only getting 15% of the views you used to, and you have the same employment experience you did at 20 yo.
