     @D-Droid @coolboymew people who hold the purse strings don't really understand that just because that company over there made money by appealing to a niche audience doesn't mean that you can also do the same thing and make the same amount of money. They don't seem to realize that demographics within the market operate independently and can be saturated independently of whatever the rest of the market is doing. More and more I wonder if the people at the top aren't just autistic in the worst possible way

     @D-Droid @binkle @coolboymew Saints Row was never a GTA parody game tbh. People say that because it's an open world crime game, but Saints Row was always about growing your gang and gaining territory. Subsequent sequels sought to distance the series from GTA comparisons by becoming wackier but Saints Row 1 and 2 are not that ridiculous (or as ridiculous). Ironically, I'd say GTA V is a lot wackier than Saints Row 2.
